Is there a way to come back from the dead?
Marley
Marley is our primary and point of view character. We follow her through this journey of trying to get her best friend back, trying to save her father and a bunch of other things. So much happens in this book, and there is a lot of self-discovery for Marley. I don't want to spoil too much, but the series name makes a ton of sense in here. Marley is a mighty human that doesn't know how to control her powers.
Gavin
Gavin is her soulmate and the one that she saved in the last book. These two are extremely cute in here, and I love how he is there supporting her. Even more so as they are trying to get, her powers working again. Gavin is with Marley for everything in this book since he doesn't want her to go through it alone. I also like how he worries about her safety and well-being.
Four Stars
I am giving Limbonian by Mikki Noble a four-star rating because it is excellent. It has tons of information packed into the story. However, I don't think if Ms. Noble didn't do it this way, it wouldn't be the same. Their world is different from ours, and there is a lot of things that she needed to say. Including the powers and all of that fun stuff.

Did someone say resurrection?
Oh yes, it was the annoying voice in my head. We'll trade, he said. I bring him back and he'll help me figure out how I was stabbed and almost died. But I've only got a week or he will be lost forever, and then I'll never find the truth.
The part he failed to mention was that someone doesn't want him to come back at all, and they'll stop at nothing to see me fail. Freaking fantastic.
How do I fight an unknown enemy, bring a boy back to life, and pretend to be normal? I mean, I can't save anyone if I'm locked up for the rest of my life.
