This issue wraps up the crazy and intense plot that Iceman has been dealing with. I think. There are a lot of little things that need to be handled, but that’ll probably happen in the next issue. I assume. I don’t actually know that. But anyway, the big points have been handled, so that’s good.
I like Iceman. He’s funny and charismatic, but he is also fully capable of throwing down. And to be honest, it’s really refreshing to see a character that knows he can’t outsmart everyone in every situation. It forces him to think differently. And realistically, if he wasn’t honest with himself about his flaws it would probably result with him getting squished (or melted) at some point.
