This is such a weird book to rate 5 stars, is it not? Mostly because this would never be the genre where I actually give out 5 stars, but considering just how much I enjoyed this book, I can't help it. Even better: it was gifted!

This is my first book by the author and I will definitely be reading their debut novel, as I think they only have two books out at the moment. But this was delightful, both charming and incredibly funny, this was a much needed decompression after finishing a tough-as-nails thriller. It has romance, incredibly relatable characters and I can't stress enough how funny this book can be. Maybe it's not everyone's cup of tea, but it definitely was mine. The dumbass representation I deserve!

I think everything perfectly aligned for me to give this book this rating, but I am definitely not complaining. I am keeping details out of this review exactly because of that - experience it blind! That's how it was for me :)
