I was first drawn to this story by the cover. Fabulous!
The story itself, I'm not quite sure of. And to be perfectly honest, that may have more to do with me than with the story. I read this while a lot of negative "stuff" was happening in my life and I fear that may have coloured my impressions. It's a good book - not a great book; the characters are nice enough but not wonderful...see what I mean?
