It was very difficult to read this book without thinking of Castle (the TV show on ABC) which is why I read the book in the first place as I'm huge fan. The writing is subpar and I found it difficult to follow in spots as pronouns and character names were poorly placed/used throughout the course of the novel. The book is decent if you need to give your mind a break which I need to do after reading The Book Thief.
