I liked this book much more than the first two books. There was a bit of a braggart in the main character that wasn't there in this book and I saw more humorous interaction between some of the characters, a dry wit, that I really enjoyed and hope I see more of in future books. The plot of the mystery was so-so. I didn't guess the ending, but the ultimate motivation of the murderer felt pretty weak to me. Still, if this book is indicative of future instalments in the series, I'd say the series is improving and I'll look forward to reading the next book to find out.
