"Even Superman had a Lois Lane. Don't forget that."

Beckett and Maddie have had secret crushes on each other since they were in high school but have never been able to tell each other how they feel. Now, years later, they are both back in Bellamy Creek and living under the same roof. The feelings that never disappeared give them both the courage to finally act on them but as Maddie's time to return to Ohio is nearing closer, she is hoping that Beckett with giving her a reason to stay in Bellamy Creek.

I loved this book right from the very beginning with them all as teenagers burying a time capsule that they were planning on digging up 20 years later. Beckett and Maddie were so cute how they would always get tongue-tied when it came to actually tell each other how they felt. When they did finally come together it was hot. Elliot was adorable and I loved that he had the courage to do and wear whatever he wanted. I also loved Mr. Weaver and how even with his Dementia he still knew his son would find and marry the girl across the street. The ending of the story was bittersweet with them opening the time capsule and us saying goodbye to this group. I recommend the whole Bellamy Creek series to anyone who loves small-town romances that are full of family, friends, and a whole ton of heart.

Audio … I enjoyed listening to Connor Crais and Amanda Ronconi bringing the final Bellamy Creek story to life.
