The perspective for this issue was not what I expected, but I have to admit I really liked the changeup. I imagine at some point we'll switch to the more expected main perspective, but then again...considering his status at the point in this timeline, maybe not? I guess I'll have to keep reading to see. This isn't an origin story. Not quite. It doesn't feel old or stale, though it does go over some facts that we already knew (obviously).
