Untouched by Sara Humphreys is the second installment of The Amoveo Legacy series. It is Kerry and Dante’s story. Before I launch into the review for Untouched, let me offer a little background information. The Amoveo are an ancient shape shifting people. There are several clans. Tradition says that the Amoveo can only mate with other Amoveo. An Amoveo must find his or her mate by their 30th birthday. If they don’t, they start to lose use of their gifts and their basic Amoveo abilities. In Unleashed we discover that there is a group of Purist Amoveo who seek out and destroy Amoveo who have mated with humans and any offspring they may have. Without hybrid Amoveo the race will die.

Dante found his mate Kerry when his friend Malcolm found his mate in Kerry’s best friend Samantha. He was almost too late. Now that he’s found her, he won’t let her out of his sight. Kerry is a hybrid and at risk. Dante even acts as Kerry’s bodyguard when she takes a job in New Orleans. This job ends up not being your average modeling job either. It will only serve to bring Dante and Kerry closer.

Sara Humphreys really uses the New Orleans and bayou setting to full advantage in Untouched. The magical elements of the book really lit up in this setting. Kerry’s physic abilities really added to the story as well. I am fascinated with that area of the paranormal and enjoyed the bits that were included. I just wish there had been more of them.

Dante and Kerry really spark the pages. I enjoyed their banter. Of course the secondary characters were just as great! Almost all of the characters from Unleashed are back with some new faces.
