I was feeling a bit torn about getting to the conclusion of Thrawn. On the one hand I didn’t really want to see it end yet…I think I would have been happy had the series been stretched into more than six issues. On the other hand I really loved the ending for the book, so naturally I was looking forward to seeing it in graphic novel form.
It’s funny how reading the same thing in a different format can give you a whole new perspective on something. I feel like I have a better grasp now of what happened in Thrawn. Additionally it’s nice to have all of the events a bit fresher in my mind, what with the second novel coming out shortly.
There were a couple of small and somewhat subtle cameos that happened towards the end. I’m not going to lie; they made me extremely happy. It’s been fun seeing these characters slowly make their ways into other series like this.
