Nic Tatano is quite an impressive author – not only does he write pretty freaking awesome Chick Lit novels (they’re sooooo good), he can also write a pretty darn good Young Adult novel – first with his Jillian Spectre series (and you can see my review of Jillian Spectre & The Dream Weaver here) and now with Destiny’s Hourglass. Now honestly? I’m not a big fan of the cover, but because I knew it was a Nic Tatano book, I knew I’d be getting a fabulous read. He can write any genre, it seems, and pull it off with ease!

It was very nice to see that Destiny’s Hourglass was about a guy. Normally, Nic writes girls (and writes girls even better than I ever could and I AM A GIRL) so it was nice to see him tackle a guy centric novel and I loved getting to know Riley!

Destiny’s Hourglass had such a fun plot – I would LOVE to have the ability to change the future. Sensibly, of course.
