This Same Earth (Elemental Mysteries, #2)

by Elizabeth Hunter

Five years after her world turned upside down, Beatrice De Novo thought she'd left the vampire world behind her. Working as a research librarian in Los Angeles, she'd found a new life, new friends and a new love.

But when the past becomes the present, she ends up working beside a vampire she thought had abandoned her. Where has Giovanni been and why has he returned?

Giovanni has his own questions, and he's looking to Beatrice for answers.

Loving this series so much so far!

Lookie what I found - my notes from when I read this! They are REALLY all over the place, but still... decided to put them here so I won't forget them :)

*I am so freakin' thrilled this book did not disappoint!

*Still slow burn

* Really glad we got rid of the boyfriend quickly, 'cause otp, but also happy but she didn't forgive Giovanni quickly cause dude, what you did was not cool.

*Bennnnnn (Slightly confused about this note of mine haha)

*What the fuck is Lorenzo trying to do?! The mystery is still unsolved, but I'm loving it!

*The book passed real quickly - didn't even notice and BAM it was over!

*Loved the prologue and epilogue.
