Learning your ABC's has never been more fun..from the vivid pictures of bugs to the tongue twisters accompanying each photo in The Alphabet of Bugs. Each page opens with the Letter of the Alphabet on the left side of the page and a tongue twister and on the right side a colorful picture of a BUG! Unusual bugs, dare I say beautiful bugs. They are detailed and quickly caught my granddaughter's eye. The bugs are placed on colored backgrounds and the sentences teach not only the bug name, but a unique color as well. For example, "Mason Wasp Magnificently mimics Moccasin" or "Katydid keenly kicks Keppel" The book is intended for preschool to kindergarten but will require a parent who is good at pronunciation to read them.
