I thought I would take a chance on AR again since I had to sit and wait for my darling children to finish up their afterschool activities. I didn't HATE it. But I had a HUGE issue with their first (and only) sex scene. The hero was drunk. He thinks it is a dream. He has NO clue who he is having unprotected sex with. --- doesn't that just scream ROMANCE to you?



In fact, it takes him at the very least a month to figure out who she is and only because he sees a photo of her. Then she walks in the door (first time he is seeing her sober), and he falls to his knees and asks her to marry him?? They hadn't even had a single conversation at that point. The rolling my eyes was strong in this one.
