First, the cover is gorgeous.

Even though the general plot has been used before, I loved how it was given a new twist that made it an interesting read. Instead of just getting happy ever after, there were sacrifices to be made and, despite how irritating it is when the couple has this kind of troubles, I appreciated the change.

Jasmine, unlike some other friend characters, was actually likeable and Lucy too. I wish there had been more time for Blake and Winter to know each other better though. Their relationship was a bit rushed because of the constant danger they faced, understandable. But they declare their love for each other, more or less, and it didn't feel very real to me, because there wasn't enough romantic build up.
