Tenderhearted Southern girl Anna Whitt was born with the sixth sense to see and feel emotions of other people. She's aware of a struggle within herself, an inexplicable pull toward danger, but Anna, the ultimate good girl, has always had the advantage of her angel side to balance the darkness within. It isn't until she turns sixteen and meets the alluring Kaidan Rowe that she discovers her terrifying heritage and her willpower is put to the test. He's the boy your daddy warned you about. If only someone had warned Anna. Forced to face her destiny, will Anna embrace her halo or her horns?

I've been waiting for this book for so long. Almost a year!

When I read the first couple of pages, all I could think of was [b:Twilight|41865|Twilight (Twilight, #1)|Stephenie Meyer|https://d.gr-assets.com/books/1361039443s/41865.jpg|3212258] - book that I've tried to read twice without getting through. This book, however, I continued to read, and the middle part of the book was actually quite good. The ending was rather flat, so I guess this book just didn't work for me.

The characters were very predictable to me, I felt like I knew how they would act in any given situation. I was looking forward to fall in love with a new character, Kaidan, but that never happened. Even though he was predictable, I also felt like I never got to know him. Such a shame!

I don't think I'll be continuing this series.
