Alexi and Amanda shared one sizzling night, and that was it, until fate brought them back together. Their reunion came with surprises. One of the biggest being that Amanda was pregnant, and Alexi was the father.
I was curious about why Alexi was so negative about love and attachment, so I enjoyed learning his backstory. There was quite a bit of heartbreak there, as well as some family history. But, he had this incredible grandmother, and I was glad she was part of her life. She helped him see things in a different light, when necessary, and raised him to be a decent man.
I was pulling for these two, because I thought they would have an amazing forever together. Both had some baggage they needed to unpack together, but I was happy to wait around, while they did. There is a bit of an issue that arose, which brought tears to my eyes, but Amanda and Alexi faced it together, and were maybe a bit stronger because of it.
Definitely one of my favorites in the series.
