This review was originally posted on Star Crossed Reviews I received this book for free from Netgalley in exchange for an honest review. This does not affect my opinion of the book or the content of my review.I have a few of Sophie's books on my TBR pile but this is the first one I have read. I'll tell you now, it will not be my last!

This book follows Sloane as her marriage falls apart. We hear about Sloane's life before her marriage which sounds super fun but I imagine after a while it was also quite draining. When Sophie finds Myles she thinks she has found her happily ever after. Sadly life doesn't turn out the way she expected. Sloane was at times infuriating but it's always easier to see things from the outside. I really liked Sloane and as the book progressed I was more and more proud of her.

Sophie writes characters that are relatable and lovable. Not only do I love Sloane there's also Vivane and Ruby-Grace. These two characters are very different but I was rooting for them both.

This book deals with some serious issues but will also make you laugh. There were times when I just wanted to hug some of the characters and then there were times when I was laughing along with them. This is a great read if you need a boost and some laughs. I'm looking forward to reading more of Sophie's books.
