by Sona Charaipotra and Dhonielle Clayton

Soon to be a Netflix TV show!

Featuring a diverse cast of characters, plenty of gossip, lies, and scandal, Shiny Broken Pieces continues with the soapy drama readers loved in Tiny Pretty Things.

June, Bette, and Gigi are competing one final time for a spot at the prestigious American Ballet Company. With the stakes higher than ever, these girls have everything to lose...and no one is playing nice.

June is starting to finally see herself as a prima ballerina. But being the best could mean sacrificing the love of her life. Legacy dancer Bette is determined to clear her name after she was suspended and accused of hurting her rival, Gigi. And Gigi is not going to let Bette-or the other dancers who bullied her-go unpunished.

It all comes down to this last dance. Who will make the cut And who will lose her dream forever

There is just something about these little black swans that makes me want more. I was really happy with the endings the authors gave to our three main characters. Each of them experienced a lot of growth, and they all moved towards a better version of themselves. I also really appreciated us knowing where they ended up, and get that peek into their futures. Additionally, I like that there is the possibility of more. The ending could definitely be a set up for a spinoff, following some of our faves as they lead their lives as company dancers. Who knows?
