This isn't normally my go to genre, I like adventurous books with lots of things happening, but I really loved it!
The way it is written makes it easy to read and fun to keep reading. Not that it kept me literally glued to the pages, but I did really wanted to know how this story would 'end'. It's about family, family ties, a forgotten (family) history and personal stories. Friendship, misunderstandings, remembering your past and making new memories.
I liked the way the story developed, no surprising plottwists and it's not a fast paced read, but a interesting story about a girl who rediscovers her past and finds a way to reconnect with her mothers side of her family. And don't forget Roo, he's cute ;)
