This is one of those series that had a lot of potential, but they just wasted it by rushing through things too quickly. There’s legit at least three (if not four) time jumps in this single issue. But I’m getting ahead of myself.
Amber had the potential of being an interesting character, but we never really got the change to know her. We were shown/told that she’s amazing and talented, but that’s pretty much all I know about her. They kept throwing tragic events at her like that would make us fonder of her character.
Though I wouldn’t mind seeing that creep taken down – they did a good job setting up an antagonist that is easy to hate. I’ll give them that much.
