Heart of the Walker by Coralee June is book 2 in the Walker series and must be read in order. Heart starts right after Wings ended. Ash is back in Dormas with the guys (and Jules), still struggling with Josiah's betrayal and worried about the emperor. The first half of the book is the building relationships between Ash and each of the guys. I really loved the way June wrote it because it felt authentic. The way Ash and the guys get to know each other is much like a typical relationship-they spend time together and share information about their lives. Its all very normal (except for the fact there are 6 guys!).

The end of the book really amps up the danger and drama! Trust me, when you get to the last 75% or so, you will not be able to stop reading. I loved the way Jules steps up and I also really enjoyed Mia and her brother. I think all 3 of them brought a great vibe to story.

Heart ends just as a huge game changer is revealed and I am super excited to continue with the series and see how the guys and Ash handle this major development. If you like dystopian stories like the Hunger Games or Divergent, but wanted the heroine to have ALL the guys, The Walker series is perfect!
