I'm quite torn about this book. Mina was amazing but Simon was just the biggest idiot ever. But even with his idiocy, the story was progressing quite nicely and after a marriage of convenience, Mina and Simon start becoming friends and falling for each other in a really lovely fashion that gave me butterflies, but then stupid stuff happens to draw out the plot and for drama's sake and people are stupieder than stupid (not sure if that is a word). At least Mina doesn't just take it but leaves him (spoiler, sorry) and Simon does some really really awesome groverling, honestly some of my favorite grovelling ever in a book. That and the chemistry is what makes this four stars even if most of the drama was the MMC being an idiot and unneccessary drama.
