Well, I'm going to echo what several others are saying - good story, the illuminated stuff was neat, some better characterization wouldn't go amiss, LOVE the bats and that portions of the proceeds are going to help them, but...the ending confused the hell out of me. Seriously...all of a sudden, I had no idea what I had just read. There are a couple of other reviews that have excellent spoilers if you finish and find you're in the same boat as me and need some assistance!
