I am pretty sure the author must sprinkle crack between the pages of these books. That is the only logical answer to why I have now spent 21 hours (and three) books on a single needlessly drug out story that yet AGAIN ended on a cliffhanger. But guess what?! This fool will line up for book four because this story is ridiculously addictive.
To be honest, these books are not particularly well written. They are WAY too long. There are 5000 characters to keep track of. The plot is OTT angst (especially for highschoolers). You have bullies. Sexual assault. Suicide attempts. Mean girls. Murder. Secrets. Lies. Drug abuse. A love square (still #TeamBenny). Shady bad guys. Excessive drinking. Smoking (which for some reason everyone in these books equates to a drug addiction). OW drama. Cheating. Cutting. And ZERO graphic sex scenes. But yours truly seems to be hooked...so bring on book four (but for the love of GOD please let it be the final book!! *lol*)
