Now, I'm a huge of greek mythology, that world simply fascinates me, so I was excited to come upon this book. Until I learned who the actual God was, then I was like noooo ... it won't be the ending I was hoping for. You know how those Gods are!

The story itself was interesting, but it didn't quite hold me like I hoped it would. I just wanted more to happen, it didn't seem to go anywhere. It was pretty evident that Siobhan and Liam (aka Apollo) loved each other, but I always questioned the reality behind their love. In this world, every person has their purpose. And Siobhan serves as an agent for the Gods, and her purpose is solely to Apollo. And what they will bring to the future of their world.

Apollo creeped me out a bit, I didn't quite approve of his intentions, but he claimed that he loved her and the she would always be his #1. Yes, he's a God, but it's always hard to accept that ...

It was just tough to create in-depth thoughts about their relationship because I felt so iffy about it. And for most of the book, I tried to put myself in their shoes, and most of the stuff that went one would not fly with me.

I guess I was just expecting more in this book, but I do plan on reading the next one in this series!
