Will Chantelle tell Dennis the truth about how she feels?
Chantelle
Chantelle is one of our main characters, and one of our characters being the forefront of a chapter. Okay, so what I meant by the last one is that the section was around her and what she was doing in that chapter, along with if it involved Dennis or not. Telle, as Dennis likes to call her along with Telephone, is not only a good friend to her married friends but is a good friend with Dennis. She puts up with a lot from him after all this time. What I like about Chantelle is that Telle knows what she wants and tries to get Dennis to notice her. Along the way, though, I think that she is just as scared about turning their friendship into something else.
Dennis
Dennis is our other main character and, of course, the last one of our characters being the forefront of a chapter. For Dennis, that wasn't as much in this little novella as it was for Chantelle. Either way, I did enjoy seeing into his point of view a bit. Dennis uses humor when he couldn't think of anything else to say when the situation got too real for him. What I like about Dennis is that he shows another way of being a blogger besides being a book blogger while also maintaining a job. I kind of like it how they both skirted around their feelings when near each other.
Four Stars
I am giving Kiss and 'Telle? By Nadine Keets four stars because it is a great little novella book. I loved what the author did with the characters and how she is already in their heads from the last book that she wrote. Ms. Keets does a fantastic job of writing this book, and I love it. I enjoyed the banter between Dennis and Chantelle as well.
