So, I knew this would be a sad story, but it was so sad and depressing. I am the type of person who needs the right mix of dark and light, and I am glad to say there was a light at the end of the tunnel, but I had to go through so much dark to get there. It was quite a portrait of generations of mental and physical abuse, and I would like to think it would stop with Cassie.
