I’ve read previous books by Jill Shalvis and enjoyed them for their fun characters, chemistry and banter, but for some reason I didn’t connect with Kylie and Joe. I did like the fun hashtag titles at the beginning of every chapter, and the dialogue between the guys and Kylie’s friends in the story. Something I noticed was that the story was more telling than showing. It was harder for me to envision the story like a movie when I read. For me it was okay, I did finish reading it, but this one’s not a favorite like others of Jill Shalvis I’ve read.
