This delightful, engaging story centers around a Gobling named spicy who loves to read and whispers to become a Sage but life has other plans in the form of him becoming a Hunter. Humans attack his village and most of his tribe is murdered. His sister is taken hostage and Spicy must now become the hero and save those that have survived. My son and i listened to this on a car ride to Seattle and it really made the time fly by. The pacing of the story is quite interesting and though some of the fight against the humans at times was gruesome i did not detract me from continuing with the story.
