I am a HUGE fan of Melissa's books and usually devour them in a day so it's not a surprise that I was dying to read another of her books.
We've already heard Cash, Blue and Duke Ryder's stories. This one follows their little sister Trish Ryder. Trish is a well respected actress. She has worked damn hard for her reputation within in the industry as a serious actress who doesn't mess around. However, Boone Stryker arrives on set that all goes to pot.
Boone Stryker is a rock n roller. He's got the image, he's got the songs and he's got the attitude. From the outside he's seems pretty selfish. His actions make Trish think he doesn't care about the film which gets her back up big time.
From the moment they meet Trish and Boone have undeniable chemistry. They bicker and argue like the were born for each other. The electricity between them is so real I could almost feel it. They are both such passionate people that fireworks were inevitable.
What I love most about Boone is his need to protect his family. His need to make sure everyone on his list is ok before he deals with his own life. What I love about Trish is that she doesn't take any crap and makes Boone realise that someone needs to be making sure he's ok and she's going to do that whether he likes it or not.
These two are so perfect for each other they make my heart ache. I loved this story and I can't wait to dive into another Melissa book.
