by Alyson Noël

Things have changed for Ever since she met her beloved Damen – not least because she’s got a whole new set of powers, courtesy of her new Immortal status. Just as she's getting stronger, though, Damen seems to be weakening. Panicked at the thought of losing him, Ever finds a path to the in-between world known as Summerland, where she learns the secrets of Damen’s tortured past. But in searching for a cure for him, Ever accidentally discovers a way to twist time so she can save her family from the accident that killed them. It’s all she’s ever wanted – but so is Damen. Could not put this book down! I opened it up at 8:00 in the morning and was finished by 6:00 thay night. If it wasn't for the minor detail of having to work all day, I would have finished much sooner. In this book, Damen is trying to teach Ever the powers of an Immortal. But when a new boy at school, Roman, shows up and suddenly Damon begins to get headaches and loses his powers, Ever sets out to Summerland to find out to help him.
I wish I could get lost in Summerland. The way that Alyson Noel describes this other world is remarkable. Think of anything, simply wish for it, and there it will be. It just seems like such a perfect world, and it is crafted so well.
I found myself so excited to reach the next page, so curious about what happened next. All of the old characters I loved made a return and new characters were thrown into the mix as well. The ending was amazing, I am so excited to find out what happens in the next book! If you haven't read this series, you are really missing out! Add it to your TBR list, check it out of the library, borrow it from a friend, just read these books!
