This is in fact...a book. I think that sums up my entire experience with House of the Seven Gables. It's a book, it has pages, and I read it.
I don't really care about the story, which is exceedingly long for something that could be summed up in less than 10 mins. The writing itself is dry and overly descriptive, sometimes in areas where you don't even need the description.
It was just...'meh'.
