I was expecting this to be a time-consuming read, but it was actually written in a rather breezy style and I had a lot of fun with it. It was far more a time travel fantasy than it was science fiction-y. It actually reminded me of [b:The Anubis Gates|142296|The Anubis Gates|Tim Powers|http://photo.goodreads.com/books/1309282613s/142296.jpg|2193115] in quite a few ways. The book is comprised of three separate stories, but they all feature H. G. Wells and contain clever links to each other.
