Eric Carle is one of my favorite children's authors. I love everything he does. Every school year I use his books in my units that I teach. The children are always fascinated when I tell them how he "makes" the pictures for his books. (google him to find out)

I own most of his books and they are worth every penny that I have spent! The Very Hungry Caterpillar, of course, is one of my favorites from Eric Carle and kids love to see what the caterpillar will eat next. This is a must have for every child's book collection.
