I started reading this on a whim and I must admit, I’m pleasantly surprised. There were some well-written passages in there. It was a fun, quick read.
Just a few quick notes though:
-did I sense allusion to beauty and the beast?
-the flashback scenes were slightly disorienting
-how does the school system work exactly?
