"Anything worth having is worth fighting for."

Showstopper is an m/m, college, hockey, opposites-attract romance that is told in the first-person point of view of Kolby and Adam.

Adam has just transferred to Moo U due to a scandal at his old school and is determined to keep his head down, avoid the distraction of guys or girls, and focus on hockey and school only. The only problem is the hot theatre student who he agrees to teach how to skate.

Kolby is openly gay and has dreams of acting in New York. After being disowned by his Mormon family for his life choices, he is now living his dreams at Moo U. Now he needs to tutor the sexy hockey player while trying to keep his hands to himself.

My Thoughts...

Kolby and Adam will put a huge smile on your face and have you swooning over how adorable they are. Both of them seemed strong and even a little cocky but when you put them together they both became nervous wrecks. There were more ups and downs in this story than I expected but it worked. There was an interesting twist in the story that I for sure did not expect. This was my first book by this author. I am looking forward to more Vinos & Veritas books soon.
