After 15 years, the identity of Dani's father is revealed and he happens to be a famous movie star, Mark Ocean. In an effort to revive his career, Mark embraces fatherhood and invites Dani to spend the summer in California so they could bond. There are a lot of side stories and misadventures during her summer stay, but to me, the heart of this story was Dani discovering who she was and what her father meant to her, as well as, Mark realizing he was missing some important things in his life and needed to grow up.

It's a cute story. The conflicts are not too harsh and quickly resolved. The characters are likable. No, this is not anything like Park's other works, it's not that deep, but it was enjoyable none the less.
