I didn't know what I was going into with this book, but I have to say I was pleasantly surprised by the direction it took.

Kat and Dane have been married for two years, but with their anniversary approaching the marriage is anything than what they thought their life together would be. They were both hiding behind carefully constructed walls that hid the truest parts of themselves. And it takes their anniversary trip to bring those walls crashing down and for this couple to decide whether what they have is worth fighting for.

This couple had issues. They way they met and carried out their romance left lots of room for them to hide their issues. That continued after they were married. But once Dane decided it was time to fight for their marriage it opened Kat's eyes and made her realize it was time her husband knew all of her. Once that happened, they were able to start patching the holes in their relationship.

I liked Kat and Dane, but I began to love them once they started to actually communicate to one another. And it was that communicate that helped them build back and prove their trust in one another when things started getting a little tricky.

I loved the romance and the suspense of this book. If you like a book that keeps you on the edge of your seat as you fan yourself from its hotness, definitely pick this one up.
