The Sound of Stars by Alechia Dow may struggle at times to find its rhythm, but overall it is a magnetic Sci-Fi romance that shatters the genre's established stereotypes with its diverse cast of lovable characters. This noteworthy YA debut manages to expose the dark side of humanity, while simultaneously celebrating what makes it worth saving.
