Darlene was this scrappy character in The Butterfly Project, who I grew to love. I was very excited when I heard she was getting her own story. This woman bottomed. She had to claw her way back, and I wanted nothing more than for her to final get her HEA.

Loved that Scott transplanted her, and gave her a clean slate. It was a perfect opportunity for Darlene to chase those elusive dreams of her's. But I really found myself loving Sawyer, and I loved the effect they had on each other.

Lots of great drama plus a slow burn romance and a cute little kid kept me listening to this one. And everyone knows I am a sucker for redemption and second chances too.
