In One Bad Witch, our protagonist & witch Holly has recently finished six months of training under potions masters and business is booming. As a result, she is feeling pulled in all directions.

Her part-time barista job, the potion orders and now a new assignment with the Supernatural Protection Agency makes Holly one busy little witch. The manor is getting a new resident and Holly’s assigned to keep an eye on her. The SPA believes she has connections to a series of wolf murders. With the help of her roommates and Nick, the local PI, she must stop the killer. Is it their new roommate? You’ll have to discover that for yourself.

Holly is in a relationship with shifter and roommate, Adam. Agent Bramble has sworn her to secrecy and she can’t even tell him. what she suspects, but he faithfully helps her. When Nick starts dating, Narissa things get a tad complicated. Vampires, twists and turns made for an addictive storyline.

The romance thread continues to perplex me, on one hand Holly is in a relationship with Adam, but the chemistry, denial, and friendship between her and Nick keep things on edge.

Relationships and interaction between this motley crew of friends added interests and we see growth and development in the overall series ARC.

Fans of cozy mysteries with paranormal elements will want to listen to this series. Amanda Ronconi is a favorite here at Caffeinated and has become the voice of these characters. This review was originally posted at Caffeinated Reviewer
