I wasn't sure what to expect with this book. With a title like Dear Agony, you had to think things were going to be super angsty. Surprisingly, the angst didn't really come until the last portion of the book. Instead, we're treated to Bastien and Rose and their unconventional relationship.

They may have met under weird circumstances, but it was obvious from the moment these two meet they were meant for each other. As the story progresses, we get a front row seat to their friendship developing and their love for one another growing. Their relationship was perfect, for them, with the exception of one issue. It's that issue that brings the angst. And even with that issue, you never doubted the love these two had for each other. As a reader, you hoped they figured out a way to work through the issue and see they were stronger together.
