Cas, a black hat hacker in trouble runs to the only safe place he knows - his former guardian/mentor, Jonah - a contract killer and the guy Cas has long been half in love with.

I wanted to like this a whole lot more than I actually did. But it just fell flat. The plot was average but the romance was a miss. Cas and Jonah were little more than cardboard cutouts, their behaviour predictable and boring. Together, they were even worse - the relationship between them was just weird. It seemed to just come out of nowhere - they apparently had a whole background story but even that failed to make it less strange. They haven't spoken in years, Cas just appears, sees Jonah having sex with someone else then goes to trash their old apartment and all of a sudden they just start having sex. But it's not even like they have fierce hate sex or being apart sex or anything like that - they just have sex. And Jonah apparently has never even thought of him like that. It's just odd. There's no feeling behind it.
