Benjamin is a neurosurgeon whose life changed for the worse when his wife and daughter died over a year ago in a car accident caused by a drunk driver. Benjamin can not seem to care about anything until he meets up with a beautiful stranger at The Wicked Horse Vegas and his body reacts to her in a way it has not reacted in a long time.

Elena has no trust in men after a long string of bad relationships make her start to wonder what went wrong with her choice in men. When The Wicked Horse Vegas starts offering a fantasy app she decides to make a blind date, literally, allowing this man to do what he wants with her without her being able to see or speak.

Benjamin and Elena start in a purely sexual relationship that builds into a full relationship until Elena is hurt and Benjamin starts to feel vulnerable and believes the best thing to do is to walk away before he suffers the same hurt as he did a year ago.

Wicked Angel is the sixth book in the Wicked Horse Vegas series which can be read as a standalone or as part of the series. The book is written in the dual POV of the hero and heroine. Wicked Angel is a story of growth and overcoming grief. I was not a fan of Benjamin's lack of compassion at the beginning but the growth he made through the story changed my opinion of him thanks to Elena.
