Wow! What a ride this one was! Lloyd is one of my favorite authors. I've been a long time fan since I read her Amish novels, but this one....it was different than her normal stories, yet full of heart and captivating characters!

As someone who had to play a clarinet solo in the Christmas play in middle school, I absolutely felt Jessica Nash's fright. Getting up in front of a large crowd and giving a piece of your heart and soul to them? Yea, that's a scary thing! But, Lloyd captured it all in a fantastic way, and kept me hooked on Jessica's story, making me feel like I was walking beside her, feeling all her fears and excitements.

This is definitely a novel I'll be reading again and again. I'll be recommending it to all my friends who love a perfectly chiseled romantic read that will instantly captivate them. Worthy of 4 stars and hats off, for sure! Can't wait to read more just like it from the Lloyd's talented hands.
