This picks up right after Birthmarked ends and it focuses on Leon. He's eager to catch up with Gaia and in the four days that pass since the last book he's been through a lot. It's just a small glimpse at how different it is for him and what he's leaving behind.
It's definitely a good addition to the series and definitely makes me want to grab the next book even more.
