I love it when a character surprises me. I've been with the Baileys since book 1 and I'll admit that I was not looking forward to Phoenix's story. And I'm pretty sure Piper & Rayne intended to write her that way since we essentially know her from when she's a tween. Even though she was getting older, we couldn't see much of it in her sibling's book. At last, Confessions of a Naughty Nanny as arrived and it surprised the heck out of me!
Phoenix has grown so much throughout the series and we don't really see any of that until her book. I devoured every single moment of this one and it has easily come out as one of my favorites for 2020.
