We begin with Noel and his complaining about Christmas. He hates it. To him it is the worst time of the year. However he promises he will take his godson Jay ice skating at Somerset House.

Holly on the other hand loves Christmas and winter. She can't think of anything better than being an Ice Marshall at Somerset House. She looks forward to going to work everyday.

Of course things do not go well when these two meet.

I really enjoyed seeing these two characters develop, even after such a short time as two days. The characters back stories are well thought out and explained in just enough detail.

In the past I have not always been a fan of short stories but I've found that if there is enough details that actually I'm quite enjoying them.

This is a romantic, christmassy short story that will have you begging for the next book, just like me.
