A bloody, violent good time, TVD is dripping with rich prose, politics, slow-burn romance, and lots of mystery. Juliette was the bold, daring one over Roma which I loved, and I would've never guessed how the story ended. I was confused sometimes by all the political intrigue, and the prose did get a bit heavier than I'm used to, but I still enjoyed it overall and am looking forward to the sequel!
